how to start

I'm staring blankly at the screen trying to put letters together to form a semblance of an intelligible word, and I seem to be coming up empty.  Has 5 years of constant staring at the monitor and waiting for the dreaded beep left me with less neurons?
I wonder if what I feared most happened without me realizing it. Have I lost what I once considered my most valuable asset? Is it even remotely possible? Have I lost my mind and become a non-thinking person stuck in a non-thinking job?
Since childhood it was instilled in me that my greatest asset is not my looks or personality but what is in between my ears. And I have fully subscribed to that belief. Was I wrong? Is intelligence easier lost than physical attributes?
Tell me if you find the answer, I'm a little brain dead.

day off

It's been a while since i just sat around and did nothing... I thought i would miss the hustle and bustle life...but there is much to be said about contentment in the laidback life...and im content.no manager is bombarding me with messages and hate mail in the middle of the night...i can even say i dont have enough to do sometimes...but who can complsin about that? Certainly not moi...

After a long leave of absence from the internet, though no fault of my own..im hitching on the free, albeit slow, internet at a popular coffee shop here in town. though I'm beginning to think that most people come here not for the seriously overpriced coffee but to be seen and to take advantage of the internet..har har
